Growing up, I loved designing and drawing my own monsters. I would spend hours by myself coming up with new creatures, each with their own crazy backstory and personality. I always wanted to have someone to share this experience with, but a lot of my friends weren't artistic. This inspired me to create an easy way for anyone to draw and design their own monstrous creations.
Monster Mashup
"Monster Mashup" is an activity book that allows the user to trace and create an original monster. I have drawn hundreds of monster parts from fun eyes, ears, claws, feet, wings and even wacky accessories. There's a limitless amount of combinations, allowing the user to get hours of fun designing monsters from the book! I have even created a website where monster makers can post their creations and see what others have come up with.

A Daley Dose of Monsters
A "Daley Dose of Monsters" was first developed as a web comic, but later became a collection of comic strips that I self published. Each strip describes the fun characteristics of a friend of mine, but re-imagined as a cartoonish monster. The comics are also partnered with a full colored illustration of each monster.
There are a total of nine monsters. Their strips tell unique individual stories that work as a window to a larger universe, which they all live and thrive in. I hope to one day expand on their mythology, so that these fun characters have more opportunities to interact with each other.
Over the years I've promoted and sold my work at several local conventions. Monster Mashup and Daley Dose have always been well received and are my best sellers. Their success has inspired many other projects and collateral including, stickers, business cards, promotional material and the Monster Mashup App. I hope to some day contribute and expand on the ideas initiated in these kid friendly comics!
